Flowers Early Learning is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization funded by a federal grant through the Office of Head Start with a mission to be a vibrant and progressive education agency in the communities that we serve.

Volunteers are the most valuable asset our program has and are critical to the success of Head Start, and Early Head Start. Flowers Early Learning welcomes caregivers, families, friends, and community members to volunteer in our program. Volunteers assist with many classroom and outdoor activities, field trips, and clerical work. Caregivers and community members may volunteer on parent committees and the Policy Council.

Volunteers can participate in several ways:

Classroom and Outdoor Activities

Field Trips

Share Your Own Special Talent

Landscaping

Office/Clerical Work

Sanitization of Classroom Materials

Parent Committee Meetings

Policy Council

Provide Training and Professional Development to Staff

Designing and Publishing Community Outreach Materials

Flowers Early Learning also accepts donations of classroom supplies, health and hygiene supplies, office supplies and monetary contributions. Volunteers and community members may also support Flowers Early Learning when purchasing items from smile.amazon.com and choosing to support Tri-County Council for Child Development.
